The regulator of premium rate telephone services has predicted that the rise in 2011 of charitable donations sent via text messaging will continue into 2012 at an exponential rate, suggesting that by 2014 the total amount donated by text could push £100 million per annum.

Following leaks on the Engadget website, it seems like the Playstation phone may just become a reality. Sony Ericcson’s CEO says regarding such rumours that there is “no smoke without fire”. It is expected that the phone, which will be branded SE rather than Playstation, will operate on Google’s Android 3 operating system.
